Jade is just a beautiful dog. She has everything it takes to succeed in the show ring -- except for the desire to be a show dog. We decided to put her wishes ahead of our egos and she was retired needing only her last major to finish her AKC championship (she showed at three national shows in both AKC and ASCA and earned two seconds and a third in the open red merle class). She is still the queen bee in our house -- she's the only one who can boss Gracie around! Jade had one litter for us and we now have two of her grandchildren, Dash and Echo. Jade is now spayed; she is OFA Good and has her eyes checked yearly.

Gracie is smart, funny and active -- everything an Aussie should be. She's always ready for anything and makes me look like a much better handler than I am. An extremely balanced dog, she finished her AKC championship in style by taking best of winners for a 5-point major out of a total entry of 39. She followed that up with a wonderful ASCA weekend, winning two 5-point majors by going best of breed over 36 class entries and four specials at one show and best opposite the over two specials the next day. Gracie is my shadow in the house and has a vertical leap that makes us wonder if she should be in the NBA. Gracie is co-owned with her breeder, Pam Heintzelman. Gracie has her eyes checked yearly and will be OFAd soon.

Echo has enough attitude for a posse of Aussies! Keeping up with her can be a real challenge. She is a moderately built girl with flawless movement. She recently had her first chance to work sheep and did very well for a beginner. At home, her favorite pastime is pestering her brother Dash and our borzoi, Vina. Echo is co-owned with her breeder, Jamesa Maulden. She has her eyes cleared yearly and will be OFAd when she is old enough. She is a granddaughter of our Jade and Gunner.
